I remember once in my Writer's Craft course in high school, we were assigned to come up an intentionally emo poem about the most asinine topic we could think of. ... It was a lot of fun actually. Not quite as good as my Ode to a Bunk Bed, which yes, is an actual poem that I wrote for that class, and also yes, was supposed to be silly.
