Okay, so I didn't pull any pranks this year (no time to plan), but I've already run across a few good ones.

- Deviant Art has changed everyone's icons to Twilight pictures or Lady Gaga or some other hilarious thing. I got a moving Edward gif XD

- Phoenix Requiem... do you think the announcement of redoing Inverloch is a prank? I'm undecided, but Sarah HAS always done a prank in the past...

What have you spotted today?

XKCD did the coolest thing ever. I don't want it to go away tomorrow! D:

The gmail login page is missing all of its vowels, but that's nothing compared to the stuff google usually does. I'm confused.

And I think the Inverloch redo must be a prank, even though she put that up yesterday...

EDIT: Blizzard has a few things. ^_^

Questionable Content has a joke page. (Not linked because it contains adult material)
And Google are up to something.

DeviantArt has also enabled you to give friends little llama icons. I'm not sure if it's a joke or not, but I'm kinda hoping it's not.

I also got a dA icon, but I don't know what it represents!

And it flashes

Who are those people? And when I click on the edit avatar link, it shows me this:

TEAM SEEKER!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!11

Also, Youtube has introduced a new, cheaper way to view content.

Also, Google Books now has the option to view content in 3D.

It's a reference to Legend of the Seeker, which is what I wished my dA icon had been turned into. D:

As in the movie adaptation of The Dark is Rising?

My DA icon switched to "Team Jacob: because real men don't sparkle." I'm glad I got a funny one. =)

Games Workshop announced the forthcoming " 'Eavy Metal Spray Gun," a multi-barrelled, twin-propelled airbrush that turns an unpainted model into a masterpiece with a single pull of the trigger.

While the paintjobs are obviously impossible (well, to pull off with that thing anyway) the mockup looks pretty sweet. Very orky.

I dated all my work 3/32/10.

And of course, this exchange in history class.
Teacher: "Okay, everyone, five minutes to study."
Class: [deathly silence]
Teacher: [smiles] April Fool's!

I hope it's okay these weren't from the net...

TEAM GAGA

Also. LLAMAS

Also, my co-worker told me I had boogers coming out of my nose. It made me panic for a second. It was then revealed to be an April Fools joke.

So far no one's pranked me yet. Only two hours to go until April 2 . . . I think I might get away with an innocent April Fool's day this year.

HA. Good one. Although I checked out her forum to see how the discussion was going about it and there were quite a few people who were of the opinion that "it was about time she did that" pretty much. Which kind of turns me off. Seriously, she does this amazing awesome comic that you read for FREE and people STILL think she owes them something. I thought it was rather disrespectful. The internet certainly has bred a sense of entitlement into some people.

But back on topic, I love the blizzard pranks. Too funny!

I wish my 11:59 submission time for today had been a Fools joke... but no. It really was due today - yesterday, now, and I nosed it in right over the wire. No, really:

Nine pages of report, a full page of sources, and not a single original thought between them. I had HUGE HUGE HUGE help from an incredibly amazing friend, who deserves ice cream and sunshine for the rest of his long, long life. And cookies. And puppies.

To bed.
