Since I didn't see one, and I don't want to clutter the Q&A thread with OOC banter, I fig'r we'll start it off right and proper, ey?

So, here's two things to kick us off with. I've been staring down the deckplan of the Bering, and I'm going to do a 3D model of it in DoGa first, then later on in 3DS Max (though I'm still just learning that one, so it will be a long time coming). I already pretty much know how it's going to come together in DoGa, so within the week I'd say.

Secondly, and this is something I think escaped me in the half decade it's been since I was in any sort of group RPG... My character acts differently than I thought he would. Does that make any sort of sense whatsoever, or am I just insane?

I mean, I planned out his history and his personality, his quirks and his moods. I planned out how he should interract, and even based him somewhat loosely on an underplayed character of mine that I truly and dearly loved toward the end of my role playing days...and yet he's nothing like I designed him to be. It just didn't feel right to force him to be that mold, and he sort of took on a life of his own. Anyone else get that?

Oh yeah. All characters are like that, don't worry. I usually don't try to force my characters at all, actually, since it never really works.

Can't wait to see the 3D model, it'll probably help me tremendously!

I should have mentioned: the (now-renamed) Introduction/q&a thread is the Bering OOC thread. I'll lock this to avoid clutter. Could you repost your posts into that thread (i'd shift them myself, but there's no merge option in this phpBB install) and i'll delete this one.
