The question here isn't, "What do you think will happen in five years, based on your current and past decisions and upbringing?"

The question here is, "What do you wish for and want to happen, regardless of your current and past decisions and upbringing?"

Oh, well, then, if we're wishing...

We'd like to live in a society where we don't have to be ashamed of each other, and can hold our head high - or at least as high as, say, transgender people currently can.

That, and we'd like to be earning enough money to pay for rent and electricity and water and food and still have enough left over for plastic and glue.
(alternatively, to have smashed the current economic system and replaced it with something less full of dead wood)

Oh, and one of these would be pretty cool.

A dream worth dreaming. ^_^ See, it wasn't that hard.

Yeah... but designing the gyro system is going to take a long time.

No, there's somebody who built a similar system for animal-reversed legs, for cosplay. I forget where I saw it. Couldn't that be expanded and re-purposed?

Twas on the forum, in the cool links thread, I think - either that or it had it's own thread.

I'd like to be an accomplished artist. I'd like to get my webcomic in gear, possibly published, and I would like to rewrite my screenplay as a novel and get that published as well.

I'd also like to get married and raise a family. I want to see the world before I pass away, and do a lot of amazing, thrilling things like sky diving and scuba diving.

Nananana. You wear those. The staying-upright system for stilts is your own brain and inner ears and proprioception. The system for a walking motorbike would be... a little more complicated.

Well, actually, it would probably be rather cruder and simpler, but no human ever had to design a human brain 'cos they came with one built-in.

But we're kinda derailing the thread, here. So we'll shut up.

The keyword you're looking for to find that thread is digitigrade.
